I was thinking about them this morning. Imagine winning the domestic treble and no one talks about it or gives a **** yet your rivals win the European cup and the media are all over it constantly and fawning over the whole club.
Our owner is interviewed in the street, all relaxed. Theirs are choppered in and out with no interaction that isn't highly scripted and pre-planned

Its the big team wins the big prize vs small team trying to buy a heritage syndrome. Ciy cant buy what we have nor will they ever be able to - look at the previous incarnation of that - Chelsea - they are slowly reverting back to what they were pre-Abramovich and the same will happen to City once the Arabs get bored.

I dont think the Arabs will get bored its when they hit obstacles to their project that will make them switch off
Abramovich has had the problem og not being allowed to stay in the country and that has meant him re-evaluating his investment even further (he was already trying to adhere to FFP)
I think if the FFP issue comes down against City we might see them back off
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
