Just realised that City will have to go and play in the Club World Cup in December.

That flew past me too, Fluminese, Al Ahly and Al Ittidad are in the competition and hosted in Saudi Arabia. Hope they get proper kickings in their games 19th and 22nd of December.

Their last game before leaving is Crystal Palace at home on the 16th and first game back is Everton away on the 27th.

Think I saw somewhere they’ve provided something like 10k pieces of paperwork for just one charge, multiply that by 115 and you’ve got an absolute mountain of evidence to go through.

This is the thing I don't get, either they have been through the evidence etc and can hold a hearing relatively soon, or they haven't been through the evidence so they don't know how long it will take to go through it. Setting a date in about 10 months time doesn't seem to work for anything.

Also means that this season and next season will be tainted (but when we've already had more than a decade screwed up what's another couple of seasons?

By the time all the appeal processes have been exhausted, I imagine that no actual decision will be made until about Autumn 2034.

Autumn 24 would be after next season starts meaning they presumably wouldnt be able to relegate until summer 25 then, so yeah another season tainted.

Bad news but on the other hand it means the PL hopefully have their **** together and won't be caught out.

I dont believe they woupd have put enough evidence together for 115 charges if they were not serious. But its probably going to take an age as City will contest everything, then appeal each item.
