They should be getting penalties for whatever breeches they're found guilty of, in each isolated season that those breeches occurred - Not one big one this season that in effect does nothing other than not allowing them to win the title this season and miss champions league.

Almost guaranteed they'll get away with a slap on the wrist though because the league is corrupt and run by utter pricks.
Points deductions and fines even stripping of trophies is relatively tame in comparison to what they are accused of. If guilty they have distorted the game and even if they are financially meeting the rules now that is almost certainly on the back of rule breaking in the past. There is no way around that, even if you kick them out of the league (Football League not just PL) they have the resources that they will immediately come back with promotion after promotion, Once back in the PL it may take them a few years to get back to the top, but reality of the situation is that they will. I have said before if guilty there is no punishment severe enough to come close to putting right what they did.

If theya re found guilty I don't see the stripping of titles (as it devalues the PL product), to be honest I am not sure they will get a penalty severe enough to see them relegated (Football League won't want their product ruined). It will have to be a points deduction harsher than Everton and Forest received but a team that is likely to get 90-100pts could probably survive even a 60pt deduction so...

A 1000 point multi-year penalty would just about cover it.

Every time they’re in the PL, they get deducted 100 points until the 1000 is exhausted.

Yeah, but they'll probably get a 1,000 point deduction for a single season, delayed until 2250

The UEFA statement was a joke. Was a bit in it saying (paraphrasing here of course) the UK government should not be be able to block/regulate foreign governments buying football clubs that operate financially on UL soil.

So basically they do not want the UK government to be able to get regulate with footy financial matters on UK soil but would be ok for foreign states to operate financially using footy teams in the UK.

Even if it was 30 points a season, with Pep in charge, they'd probably still make the CL places.

However, if they do get a points deduction, that denotes being found guilty, and Pep said he would leave if that happened....

It is to a certain extent clickbait it could also be info being leaked by one or more people with an agenda.

But taking it at face value points deductions across multiple seasons suggests they will remain in the PL i.e. they aren't going to be relegated one or more divisions. Not saying that it's true but it's an odd thing to just come up with, you would either think a big points deduction or relegation one or more divisions this is a halfway house that looks to have had some thought go into it. A punishment greater than 1 season of points deductions but not as severe as kicking them out of the league...

Every season from when they started cheating should have 30 points deducted. And then expelled from playing football for the next 10 years. I'd be the best judge. I'd probably also be assassinated the week after.

9 rlegations should do it. They still get to play in Anfield but against Lower Breck FC

Relegate them into a special league that only has everton and they're forced to play each other 38 times a season for the next 10 years.

And the Ev will probably still manage to finish third......

That means the titles would be reawarded. No point in doing it otherwise.
