James Maddison (2) has scored more Premier League goals at the Etihad this season than Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, Jack Grealish, Ilkay Gündogan, Savinho, Matheus Nunes and Kevin De Bruyne combined (1)If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

That's cherry picking scorers though.
Kovacic has 3 PL goals, Gvardiol has 3, Stones has 2 etc.
If someone wanted to put up a similar statistic about us it would not be too difficult to cherry pick names for a lits as we only have two players that have scored more than 2 pl goals this season. Mo and Diaz.
We have more players scoring throughout our team at present than City do but at the same time we have had nine different players score in the league to their six and like them we are relying mostly on the goals of one man. Salah with 10 out of our 24 PL goals for us and Halland with 12 out of their 22 for them.
I expect a very different City to turn up this coming weekend though. Motivation and workrate tend to not be an issue when they meet us.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

partially agree- the cherry picked players are all attacking players. Great for City that gvardial and stones got them out of jail a few times, but also worrying for them that it’s the defenders that need to score (on a number of occasions).
At the moment, they can’t count on their attack to score, and can’t count on their defense to keep a clean sheet.
I do too, pep will tell them it’s the perfect game- a convincing win at anfield will turn the whole narrative around and put them back on track. After losing 5 in a row, it’s prob one of the only fixtures that gives them the opportunity to do that, with one result.Originally posted by Doc_Piptorious View PostI expect a very different City to turn up this coming weekend though. Form goes out the window in these big games, but also this might be the first time they come to anfield, where I’m thinking ahead of time that they may be rattled. A good (peaceful) bus welcoming, and great atmosphere here could make a big difference in this game. It’s a great opportunity for us.I don't tip

Not my stat, if it was I'd be including Ederson, Kinkladze and Sean Goater.Originally posted by Doc_Piptorious View PostThat's cherry picking scorers though.

And cherry picking or not, I still think it's pretty damning that Foden (current POTY,) Grealish (£100m forward), KDB (best player not too long ago) and Savinho (played most games behind Haaland) only have a goal between them at this stage, even if there are mitigating circumstances. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Don't know how, Sky big him up as the next Henry every game, but he makes Adama Traore look like Salah.Originally posted by Norbs View PostI hadn't heard of Savinho until this week!

You can see the pressure building up inside Peps head.
If we beat them I can see him having a keegan-esque meltdown, he'll be smearing his own ****e on the walls.
His "twice" melt will seem tame
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Especially after he plays a blinder and scores.Originally posted by Norbs View PostIt's probably because I only watch our games. I'll get a big dose of it this coming weekend
