I didn't see any problem with the interviewer. I get not wanting to be questioned, but the questions were fine. You may not want to discuss the behind the scenes processes, but there's nothing wrong with asking.

I think he handled asking the questions really well, an ex pro so he knows the hurt being felt. I honestly don’t mind how prickly Diaz was either. What is telling is how far out of their confort zone this is taking them. Them all feeling it necessary to fall back on the answer of how much they have won over the years. Massively defensive, not really relevant but illustrating how rattled they are.

What is really shocking is their collective reaction to all this. “We’re above being questioned, that’s for everyone else”.

It’s certainly not a great look - Pep was the same, proud of the players etc. You’re not going to get better if you think you’re doing well. I’m sure they’re behaving differently behind closed doors, but externally it gives of the vibes of a group of people who think their own **** doesn’t stink.
