Another reason why I don't think they would strip titles and award them to other teams, it's not just the league winners but it cascades down from there, prize money per position, loss of CL or European revenue, gate receipts from extra games, sides wrongly relegated.
Players or managers prize money for winning the league would be fairly easy to calculate based on contracts, as you say intangible stuff like loss of revenue for champions marchendise or more money for preseason tournaments they would have attended as champions etc that is more complicated, it is also important because IIRC in 2020 we gave more money out in bonuses than we got as prize money for winning the league.
It could likely lead to every club in the league seeking compensation so is another reason why I don't see it happening it makes everything too messy and while you could say that's City's problem it drags out the secondary process and keeps the issue in the public eye for longer potentially causing more damage to the PL brand.
