Think this may be a step down in terms for goalkeeping quality for Citeh

Ederson is far superior with the ball at his feet, but Donnarumma is a better shot stopper and much better at dealing with crosses etc.

All depends, imo, how their back line gets set up this coming season. They have the back line sit a little deeper and not rely on their keeper to be a ball player, then Donnarumma will give that back line a very effective last line of defense.

They play a high line and expect him to be able to receive the ball to feet and distribute it well, then they are in for a shock.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Ederson is shot, surprising for a keeper but somethings not right with him and hasn't been for a while. No wonder City are getting rid.

The pain of never quite being seen to be as good as Ali weighs too heavy on his mind.

As much as I enjoyed watching City get heat yesterday, part of me still yearns for those few years 2018-2020.

The football was phenomenal, tensions so high in every game, as even a draw was a catastrophe. Watching City was as intense as watching us and I probably cheered goals against them more than a lot of our own goals, just because they were so unexpected.

I doubt we'll ever see football of that standard again.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Good! That'll help us win the league even more often.

                  Is Pep cooked?

City just don’t look the force they were. Their squad used to look inperious - now it looks lol sided and average.

I remember making the point that although haaland was a brilliant striker, not sure he would be for man city. He has changed the way they play completely...... Before they were able to interchange their front players at ease and that isn't possible any more.

I reckon pep will **** off next summer tbh

I mean they did win a treble in his first season at the club.

That's a trade off most fans would accept.

Not the 100+ charges, but you have to think there is some negotiation going on in the background.

If they accept the rules are valid then it would seem open and shut they have violated them.

But it also looks like a modified version of the Etihad deal will go ahead.

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva says his side were at a disadvantage against Arsenal because of the Premier League's scheduling.
