It's a money move for Sagna but a good move for City. They've got strong cover now for Zabaleta. A bit like the other side with Clichy/Kolarov.

More coming up on #SSN from Toure's agent - who claims Man City should treat their players like Liverpool do...

Sounds like Yaya's agent has been whispering in his ear about how to get more money on his contract.

You think that's a good move for City?

A club under the microscope after their FFP sanction are going to chuck out £100k/pw for a reserve RB who has long since passed his best.

                  Ooooo.....kkkkaaaaaay.

                    £150K/ Pw wasn't it. Anyways, a lot.

My opinion is that City's vision is to have 2 quality/proven players in each position, so much so that, if one gets injured, the repear-cushions are minimal (in terms of impact on the team). So I guess that's where we differ because I still think Sagna is very good. Past his best, yeah maybe, but is still a top right back. As I said, it will be similar to the Kolarov/Clichy situation on the other side. That's why I said it was a good move for them as he's got enough exprience and quality to fit in seamlessly when required.

As for the FFP thing, I'm sure they're on the case with the best accountants out there and this won't be their only 100k+/week signing this summer. Will probably be 3 more.

City's accountants are the same ones who drew up the FFP rules for UEFA. They hired them when their work with UEFA ended. So yeah they should be pretty good at getting around it! Not that the punishment is up to much.

City fan in work said their American club New York City, could buy a player for silly money, then loan him to Man City to circumnavigate FFP.
