NYCFC having Lampard from Day 1 in Year 1 was a measuring stick of how seriously Man City owners took MLS & NYC fans. Answer: They don't.

    Grant Wahl @GrantWahl · 14h 14 hours ago
Only thing NYCFC could do now to save face with NYC fans over the Lampard debacle is to make an equivalent signing to start the season.

    Grant Wahl @GrantWahl · 11h 11 hours ago
NYCFC source says Lampard's contract is owned by Man City & isn't a loan. Only adds questions & doesn't take away from message being sent.

The big losers with Lampard staying at Man City: 11,000 NYCFC season-ticket holders, who should demand a refund

    Grant Wahl @GrantWahl · 11h 11 hours ago
So, yeah, this NYCFC/Lampard situation is a farce, but we're done wagging fingers here today. Happy new year!

The Lampard situation really cheapens the MLS.

BUt it's ridiculous to think that would have ended any other way.

Unless he'd been **** for City he was always likely to stay.

Does it. It's not far off the SPL IMO.
          Oh I don't know.

Swansea will hopefully visit our striker shop with the cash.

going to be the next Remy when Aguero is back. Amazing they can waste 30m on another striker who wont get in the first 11 when everyones fit.

Although short term and as a plan B its about as good as it gets.

                        Bony is vastly overrated IMO.

Bony is a very good striker, he's just not good enough for our fans on here because he plays for mid-table team
