Seen tons and tons of City fans that aren't happy at this and want Mancini to stay.

Also another fun fact that if Macini leaves that moves Brendan into 7th spot for longest serving manager of a current PL club.
The times they are a changin'.

Real Madrid are supposed to be after him, its not a case of 'getting rid', we've seen it countless times when one of Madrid or Barca come calling for a Spanish player.

            Mancini blaming the owners now.

Does the guy ever take *any* responsibility?

If it is not true you have written stupid things in the last six months. If it is true I'm stupid because I don't understand this. I work with serious people and I think I did a good job.

Our target when we started the season was to win the Premier League, but I think our mistakes started in the last transfer market. We didn't do enough to our team.

It's certainly looking that way. He's clearly seen a door of opportunity at Everton ...

Can't really blame city TBH. He has spent a fortune and only has 1 league and FA cup too show for it as well as the massive failure in the CL two seasons on the bounce. Any half decent manager would have walked the league this year with the team he had. United didn't win the league this year city gave it away.

Breaking: Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini 'to be sacked this week'

                              Ian Herbert

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini will lose his job this week and may be gone inside 48 hours, with the club’s Abu Dhabi owners having lost all belief that he can make them into a force in European football.

Though yesterday’s FA Cup final defeat to Wigan Athletic has revealed how far Mancini is from realising the potential on Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan’s £1bn total investment, the Abu Dhabis appear to have been resigned for several months to the fact that they will have dismiss Mancini, with Manuel Pellegrini ready to step into his shoes’ having altready told his Malaga players that he is leaving

The club’s chief executive Ferran Soriano wants a European football model in which a chief coach will be answerable to Txiki Begiristain, the sporting director, and the new style of football has already been preared for, with a 4-3-3 technical football philosophy expected under the Chilean Pellegrini.

Though Soriano and Begiristain have been laying plans, Mancini appears to have been unaware of them, claiming that reports of his demise in theis newspaper and other at the weekend were “rubbish.”

Look at United's points total, to say they should have walked the league is a little unreasonable.
