For all their money - over the last 2-3 seasons they've bought so much ****.
How many world class players have they bought? none that i can think of.
He’s here! I *know* he’s here! That’s him, I’m telling you that’s him! You hear me? I’m telling you it’s *Keyser Soze*!

Yep, theyve been dire in the transfer market for a while, saw something the other day that from their 5-1 win at Spurs in 2011 9 of that team started v us a few weeks back! Only ones missing were Lescott and Barry. They've spent about £70m trying to upgrade Gareth Barry and haven't been able to do it. About £50m trying to upgrade Lescott and haven't been able to, it's laughable.

And the oldest squad in the Premier League. They were built for immediate success and despite all the money in the world, they haven't spent it well or with a future in mind.

I was talking to a mate last night and asked him who he thought would miss out on CL football next year. He's not a Red. He said Spurs and Liverpool. I said I had a sneaky feeling that City will implode and could be overtaken by Arsenal and Liverpool in 4 games time if they don't get their heads out of their arses. They'll have to go head to head against United for the 4th spot.

                He laughed.

Pellegrini said his side had been hampered by Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions as well as coming up against "the best team in the world" in Barcelona in each of the last two seasons

Shocking- not 1 of those would get into our starting 11

Wow, apart from about 4, they've been buying really cheap players tbh.

City fans are laughing at Bony.

£30m for that lump. Always said it (yes, I'm crowing, and yes, it's still early days) - he can finish but has nothing else to his game, which at a top club who want to win everything just isn't enough. Big useless lump.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He was **** last summer, yet the second City went in for him "he's fantastic, we missed out, we shoulda..." blah blah blah.

                          Nope, still ****

They have. For some reason I was expecting to see a lot more big money transfers on that list and was certainly expecting the overall total since 2012 to be higher than £212m.

Their net spend for that period may end up not being a ridiculous figure either as they have £23m or so to come in for Negredo, £10m got back for Rodwell, £3m for Maicon, £12m for Tevez, £19m for Balotelli, £12m for Johnson, £11m got for Garcia and about £10m for the likes of Adebayor, de Jong and Barry.

When some of the smaller sales get added on, they have probably brought in about half of what they spent since 2012, so they are really not splashing the cash on transfer fees quite as much as the media likes to make out.

What they spend on wages though is another story altogether.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Jovetic is the biggest surprise for me though, I thought he'd be ideal for them, but he looks useless. I think he needs to get out of there. I'd take him in an instant. He'd flourish here.

If he could time his injuries right, he and Sturridge could take half a season each!
