Good young player with potential, nothing more at this stage. Technically has one of the worst first touches I have seen and is more an athlete than a natural footballer IMO

The owners of Manchester City Football Club today announced a multi-million pound partnership deal with Chinese investors.
A consortium of Chinese businesses have invested 400 million US dollars to take a 13 per cent share in the City Football Group (CFG)
The club, known to have a huge and growing fan base in Asia, is owned by Sheikh Mansour’s Qatar-based City Football Group (CFG).
The group, run under parent company Abu Dhabi United Group, also owns New York City and Melbourne City football clubs.
The deal announced today follows a visit to Manchester last month by the President of China, Xi Jinping.
The consortium is being led by a leading Chinese media, entertainment, sports and internet company CMC (China Media Capital) Holdings.
The club said the deal would ‘create an unprecedented platform for the growth of CFG clubs and companies in China and internationally’.
The deal, which equates to £265m, is subject to regulatory approval and follows more than six months of discussions between parties.

I don't think they have valued City at £2bn - it is the collective City group which owns City, New York FC and Melbourne.Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostSomething sis terribly wrong with football/the world when a team who have never progressed as far as CL semi finals and who cant fill a stadium they dont own are worth 2 billion pound.

The article in question suggested that it was the Chinese governments investmest vehicle that tried to buy us - not an individual. They are the ones that have bought a share of City now.Originally posted by Fivex View PostDon't think it's the fella who tried to buy us though.
It was the same as DIC - it was the Dubai royal family's investment vehicle used to purchase assets around the globe.
