Look at their transfers - initially they did everything right. A lot of activity - including adding Tevez, Kompany, Toure, Silva, Milner, Aguero. Yes they paid way over the odds for most of them however they had the money and time to make up but since then its been expensive mediocrities one piled on top of another until De Bryune.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
So many seats at the Epmtihad Stadium again ...Man City small time club
Yeah that's one way of putting it. But it would be interesting to see how full old trafford or anfield would be if the majority of fans were locals only which I imagine the majority who follow city are. The big established teams have built up worldwide fanbases over many years, therefore plenty of non locals with lots of money jump at the chance to grab tickets. City obviously have a smaller support and I guess it's too expensive for many to go to every game.

At least they have the title to show for it - I bet we've spent close to £8-900M during the same period & I know we've had various cup successes & the CL obviously but we've squandered multi-millions on ****e
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

I bet our Net is much better though. Anyone any idea what Rafa's net spent was?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Clearly they believe that their status of a big club is now assured and in the coming years they'll become more popular outside of their historical heartlands.
I suspect Pep will bring in a few more fans next season.
