Pep telling the press that if he didnt win anything at a big club (like bayern or barca) then he would get the sack for sure.
I would expect the piss to be ripped out of him and city fans everywhere as he obviously doesnt consider city to be a "big club"
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I really think that outside the PL the definition of 'big club' in this context is one of Bayern, Barca or Real. For a while it looked like the PL elite would join that pool but we have totally regressed in Europe and consequently no longer look capable of that type of self sustaining superiority.
It seems that the tactical evolution in the PL towards greater speed and more breathless games has made it harder to adapt in Europe and put too much pressure on squads. It hasn't helped that in general PL clubs seem bad at both buying individual players (we seem to pay much more than continental teams) and evolving squads over time.

Of course they are a small club. If you win £90m on the Euro lottery your not all of a sudden invited to the party's of the rich and famous. When it comes to city I think of them as Wayne and waynetta slobber when they win the lottery. ****ing tramps with money.

Interesting those teams enjoy pretty much a domestic monopoly / duopoly.
