    Yaya signs a new contract.

I'm assuming he is captaining the 3rd XI next season?

Cant recall where I heard it earlier but someone suggested Sterling to Spurs and Alli to City +£20m
I make no apologies, this is me

He's a great player, but it doesn't stop all the players wanting first team football. How do they fit Alli in? He'd want guaranteed first team football.

Pep hasn't had massive squads at Barca or Bayern - the squad he is going to have at City will be ridiculous.

Disagree Buzzo - Barca had depth with many of their youth players coming good - Their core of players barely missed games Puyol, Alves, Pique, Messi, Xavi, Deco, Iniesta, Busquets, Eto'o

Bayern had almost 2 teams - Ribery, Robben, Costa, Coman, Muller, Lewandowski, Vidal, Thiago, Alonso, Martinez - for 6 spots - same for defence.

Poor old Southampton. All that money might be so annoying.

Since when do City care about high fees? They weren't prepared to match us on VVD and now they're put off by Mendy's asking price. Weird.

                    Lets buy Mendy then.

The Assumption that their interest in those players was ever real should probably be questioned, but ...

I would suspect a significant factor is that they want the players to buy in to their project. They will be looking to build a whole new defence and possibly significantly alter the team elsewhere. Their recruits need to be committed and I would tend to believe that Guardiola has fairly severe demands on players coming in.

There also has to be some balancing act with respect to FFP. I would assume they have one or two huge signings in mind (even after Silva and Ederson).

What a dick. What weather was he expecting when he moved to Manchester?

I'm sure I saw something on the back page of the Mirror when Juninho joined Boro saying "no-one told me it got dark at 4 o'clock".

I'd have a face on me to if I had to live in Manchester.

IIRC Reyes trotted that one out too.
