Done what Chelsea did before them.

Who'd have thought it. And yet we spend more time on match threads moaning about marginal refereeing decisions.
        Really?

Difference with Chelsea and indeed Blackburn was that FFP did not exist, so they weren't really cheating or defrauding anyone. Except, maybe the Russian people.
          Oh I don't know.

PSG are the reason the transfer market has gone crazy after the Naymar purchase.

Letting clubs be bought by a state shouldn't be allowed. The 2014 title should have been ours but we lost out to a corrupt cheating club.

FFP is bull****. It's anti competition. As much as I dislike city having all that money, why should they have to wait 20 years to build slowly? It's still taken them a top quality coach to get the best out of them. Money isn't everything. They also don't hold the transfer record for any of the positions do they? It's a bit sour grapes. As Dom alluded to earlier, a fair few of us would have taken a sugar daddy in the dark days.

Also, they’ve not exactly brought much in through Sales.

We have brought in £270m from Sterling, Suarez and Coutinho.

What I meant was money can be wasted. See Utd as prime example. I'd be more concerned if they just went out and bought Messi or Mbappe. It is frustrating though, only silver lining is it's ****ing with Utd fans heads.

We'll just have to win CL.

The irony that that the Glazers have sucked out as many pounds from United as City's owners have pumped in.

                          Thank **** for the Glazers.

You've been one of the more vocal people on here advocating a sugar daddy type to buy LFC. In light of these unsurprising allegations, have you reassesd that stance? Because to me the definition of that ownership model is one that has to treat FFP with contempt. Sugar daddies and FFP are incompatible.
Nothing has changed my stance because at Liverpool a wealthy backer would not need to bend FFP rules. The starting point would be far healthier than at a City or PSG for a start. And like I said from day one the FFP rules were never going to be enforced against these owners who are investing such huge sums in the sport.

That said I take my hat off to FSG who have invested so much this summer, and by doing so have given us a squad capable of challenging. It’s not rocket science really.

OK, it seemed you were complaining about City, but maybe not then.

FSG have only reinvested the money that the club has generated (due to them), so it's completely different to just fraudulently injecting tens, if not hundreds of millions.

So yeah, there is more a bit science to it even if it's not of the rocket variety.
