What a ****ing brilliant result: Out all day so kept away from the scores until I got back just now and at the risk of sounding like an Evertonian I enjoyed seeing this one almost as much as I did seeing ours.

They'll still do their best to buy the title this year. These scumbags will no doubt be ready to spunk another £150 million worth of mercenaries in January, and conjure up some more shady sponsorship deals to avoid FFP. All whilst the idiot authorities do nothing to punish them.
In some parallel universe where they weren't bailed out by oil and blood money they'll be rotting in League One, or if they're lucky then maybe the Championship.

I know it's only the cup competitions with Rotherham and Burton Albion but 16 goals in two games... feels like they have their mojo back and the pressure will be on us with them breathing down our necks. Hopefully their goal difference doesn't go nuclear in the League as well...
Citeh fans at work are actually becoming worse than the Utd ones... unbearable

That's assuming that Liverpool continue to pick up points at the same rate as they have done so far.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostGuardiola would have to have the best win percentage of his career to overtake us. Not saying it's impossible, just that we're in a very strong position despite the small margin of four points..

'Amazed' if we beat Brighton and Hove Albion? A team with a 35 year old journey man spearheading their attach, a 38 year old fb up against the best wide men in the league and a team that have less than half our points total this season? Amazed?Originally posted by S-RED View PostHonestly, I will be amazed if we get 3 points at the weekend & that will increase the pressure even more so.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
