I thought Bruno reestablished himself, but you are right.Originally posted by S-RED View PostBruno is back up now; Montoya is solid at RB. I get what you are saying, but i honestly think they will give us a tough game.
After recent results, I can understand the apprehension, but we really should be beating these quite comfortably. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Obviously we may not win. But we ****ing should..! I think a lot of supporters are gearing themselves for disappointment - but we should really enjoy it. Top of the League, and we deserve it - the view is magnificent.

I think the win % stat was from the Guardian Football weekly podcast right? That said Guardiola best win % was 85% over a season, which would give City something like 92 points. So the assumption there was 93 would win the title. At least that’s what I remember from the podcast, could have some numbers wrong

They got 100 points last season though.Originally posted by Sus View PostI think the win % stat was from the Guardian Football weekly podcast right? I don't like previous comparisons, they are as useful as a tits on a bull.
This City Team will break records because they are the costliest assembled team of all time. They broke records last season and we'll have to set new highs to win the ****ing thing, which to our credit we have been doing.

Well, we're already ahead of them. So if we were to continue to pick up points at the same rate for the remaining games, then it goes without saying they'd need to be almost flawless to overtake us.Originally posted by Norbs View PostI didn't realise it meant them not dropping any points. Bit of an ask that they can go on a 17 game winning streak
The good news for them is, they wouldn't need straight 17 wins, they could afford 1 draw. Or 1 defeat and take it on goal difference

I see it this way:
With 17 games left Man City can get 101 points so as things stand we need to finish the season 1 point ahead of nithem which at the moment means that we need 16 wins from our remaining 17 to finish above them. It can be re-evaluated after each game. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

**** these bellends. I reckon they're going to lose their next game and more games in the future so they can all get ****ed. Some teams will take points off them, bit of positive thinking lads and lasses!!Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
