Has to end with a ban, no other logical conclusion really. Otherwise the could just cancel the FFP altogether, and I think 9 out of 10 clubs are in favor of the FFP, the others being run by billioners.

I really hope that behind the scenes there are loads of clubs calling for their blood.

The European elite would be more than happy to exclude City and PSG

Gotta say, City's PR are now working their notice, could/should have handled everything better, all they have done is sent a big **** YOU to everyone......

Can't wait for Karma to kick in....

That's your classic marketing experts: "Let's mitigate this by diffusing the situation as much as possible and coming across as non-aggressive and entirely reasonable".

Big Fat Sheikh: "Double down you underling cunts, after you've finished mining salt for me and the daleks"

I never understand the point of PR companies and departments.

Highly paid people who give the wrong advice about 95% of the time in my experience.

There would largely be no need for them if people actually thought about what they said before they did it. It always amazes me the number of public figures who say really stupid **** which they most know will look bad.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If this "one down, six to go" uefa thing is right then them brown envelope chasers will want to crucify the financial dopers good and proper and string them up by their bollocks.

The Whistleblowing hackers Football Leaks also obtained an email from City's club lawyer Simon Cliff, who allegedly wrote 'One down, six to go' when informed of the death of Jean-Luc Dehaene, one of the lead UEFA investigators.
A further email, written by Simon Cliff, was also obtained. A day before the agreement was reached, Jean-Luc Dehaene, who led a team of around seven UEFA investigators until falling ill in early in 2014, had passed away. 'One down, six to go,' Cliff allegedly wrote to a City employee who had informed him of Dehaene's death.

It's not an admission of guilt but it is in the poorest of taste and shows exactly their disregard for anyone. Disregarding culpability they need to be seriously punished for this alone.

What a horrible institution they are, rotten to the core and a vessel for laundering money without any regard for sportsmanship

Its definitely real, they were hacked and all of those emails were leaked, including that one. There's pages and pages of them. I've read them all.

Surely they're taking clean money (legitimately earned by businesses such as airlines) and making it dirty (paying agents, hiding it in accounts, disguising it as something else).

They're the opposite of money launderers. Is there even a term for that?
                            Oh I don't know.
