Yeah, but i doubt he's been back for long and you wouldn't risk him with his injuries last season.

It could well hurt them tonight though, that's for sure.

My response was facetious...altho it's the sort of thing their fanbase would love the club to do, just cos it would be sticking 2 fingers up to the authorities, and they are all for that.

(I judge their fanbase purely by what I see on Blue Moon )

Looks like City are signing a centre back - highly rated Ruben Dias from Benfica but I’ve no idea how good he is. I know he’s not Messi.....

              He is right though.
              Are we winning?

They have 13 fit players apparently.

That's amazing. What a piece of business that was for us. Just imagine if he'd gone there. Would we have won the CL? The league? I dare say we wouldn't and they'd be cleaning up.

They only balked at the price tag once Virgil chose us. They’d have paid the £75m for sure Virgil didn’t want to go there.

It was definitely one of many seismic decisions that went our way. Since the day he arrived we’ve been a different team.

It was a pretty bold call of his to pick us given how dominant they were at the time and how....flaky we were. Took balls that, going there would've been a piss easy decision. He's a smart guy and I guess no one can resist Jurgen once you've been exposed to his charms.

I think the difference between Anfield and the Etihad influenced him too.
‘Who wouldn’t want to play for them?’ he said of the crowd as a visiting Southampton player.

That was the moment that I realised that Klopp was a huge pull for players. If you think, we’d won nothing, just sold our (arguable at the time) best player. It was a huge gamble.

I think winning with City and Pep looks pretty sterile, they don’t even enjoy it all that much and have this massive inferiority complex. The emotional move at the tine was to us. Thank god it paid off!

Wouldn't they have paid £65m or less. We paid a tappng up tax, if i can remember correctly.
