I wouldn’t wish injury on him… but now that it’s happened, it’s great… I’m only joking of course (about not wishing injury on him)

I know that stones and Laporte have played a lot of games together, but not so many this season, might disrupt the defense a bit putting them together again, especially with their first game back together being the Manchester derby… same as I wouldn’t like if we were forced to play van dijk and Gomes suddenly, when we play united in a few weeks.

If they have a clanger in one game, like at the weekend, I could see them imploding tbh. The fact that he got injured against peterbough wouod make it harder to take too- surely most of their fans didn’t expect many of the first choice lads to be playing in that game… would be the cherry on top, if another first teamer or two got injured against sporting next week… Laporte and de bruyne would do nicely
