Just when you least expect it, City will draw and we'll be right onto them. Ideally we need them to lose to some one (or two draws) for us not to need more than a point against them.
Thing is that no forwards thing wears pretty thin when Pep has and has had forwards/strikers there but either did not give them starts or played them in other positions.
Jesus is the starting striker for Brazil more often than not and Pep shunts him out wide.
In the summer, he sold Torres who starts up front for Spain on a regular basis and has 12 goals from 22 games for Spain.
So sytraight away he has/had two guys good enough to be starting strikers for Brazil and Spain but he choose not to play them as strikers for City.
Yet the media narrative is constantly one of how poor Pep never has a striker
and how their results are almost against all odds given they supposedly never have a striker.
How come over the past five seasons the same excuse does not get made by the media for Liverpool and Klopp, after all for most of that time Liverpool have not played with an out and out striker either.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Still unsure about this. They are usually clinical and have more or less the same goal difference than us, but for sure we are more potent. They need a goal scoring forward, in the same mould as the players they’ve got. Haaland will be a focal point, which they don’t need as it’s not their style. Might be Pep wanting to evolve their game possibly.
If they signed Haaland it is hard to imagine them as anything other than unstoppable. That lack of a top goalscorer is about their only weakness on paper.
They might need to tweak a few things to fit someone like him in, but for someone at his level it can't be that hard to do surely?
Remember they tried to sign Kane so they were definitely looking to move in that direction already.
