Hearing lots how City will hire the best legal brains money can buy, does anyone think the PL will be using a paralegal and a one man band from Bradford to state their case. Nah, all will be done from the same stable off chambers in London that City will be using, and its probably been with a chambers before the charges to ensure their case is watertight.

That said, I'd be very surprised if every charge sticks, thus reducing any punishment thereafter.

The club is currently carrying out internal investigations to find the identity of the individual.

I suspect that there will be something that will stop clubs from suing them as it would be a free for all, at the moment it's £2.2m per position in the table per season, So potentially all the teams in the league could sue for that.

Even if there is a clause preventing clubs and current players I imagine the sum total of success related bonuses or wage hits for relegated retired players would be significant
