They're going to win the TrebleOriginally posted by Phoenix07 View PostThese jammy gits are going to win the CL this season, aren't they?
Unless Bayern pull off a miracle comeback, I can see them edging past Real Madrid, and then it's probably one of the Milan clubs in the final.
Real Madrid are our only hope of preventing it.

It's just a matter of time before they win the CL - and the treble tbh - and I think this is the year. ****ing grim. I'll want to go into hibernation. Horrible rooting for Real but needs must. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Maybe they win it this year, but don't really give a toss if they do as their wins are tainted in my eyes anyway.
Do enjoy it when they have a high profile falling at the last hurdle kind of loss though and there are still teams left in the CL that can hand them that.
Real being the obvious team to do so as Real are battle tested when it comes to the CL and have a great record of finding ways to beat teams that people think are better than them.
Looking at the teams left in the CL you could make just as much of an arguement for almost any one of them beating City as you could for City thrashing any of them.
Plus City have Pep at the helm, a man when it comes to the crunch in the CL seems to find ways to make last moment changes to haow his team plays and weaken them in crucial moments.
So City win the CL? Meh who cares, they are just a Fifa23 team with the 1 billion takeover option turned on.
City get knocked out yet again? Well that becomes something to raise a smirk or two over.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I don't think that's the case.Originally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostLooking at the teams left in the CL you could make just as much of an argument for almost any one of them beating City as you could for City thrashing any of them.
The second semi-final is shaping up to have two very ordinary teams.
AC Milan vs Inter / Benfica
Citeh could beat all three of them in the one day and not think twice about it.
The Real semi will determine who wins this seasons Champions League

Milan or Inter on their day could beat City. Not saying that City would not go against either as anything other than outright favourites, but both teams have enough about them to raise their games and beat City.
Real on the other hand can beat anyone on their day and can often beat really good teams even when they are having an off day themselves. Difficult to see past Real tbh as they have such a knack for soaking up pressure and then being utterly clinical with the few chances they get.
Even tonight Bayern at home could spring a surprise on City of City do not get an early goal. Highly unlikely but a slightly switched off City is always a possibility or Pepe trying to be too clever if he thinks the tie is more or less won.
Might even get an Inter/City final with City outplaying Inter all game long and then Barella pops up with a 97th minute winner and runs to the cameras and sreams "That's for you Jaco"
