It surprises me we were that close to UTD in 2009

At that point we had just come off a fairly strong period in Europe, making the latter stages of the CL for a sustained period under Rafa winners in 2005, finalists in 2007 and had that good team that came second in 2008-09, it was the following season that it all started to go to ****.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Not new news, but shows just how dodgy football has become, payoffs at the highest level.

Manchester City are set to sign 20-year-old Brazil winger Savio from fellow City Football Group side Troyes. (Athletic - subscription required)
Hope the FA are watching this. Probably pick him up on ‘ a free ‘ or undisclosed

              Pep wants to stay.

Has he been tipped off re the PL hearing.

Hasn’t he changed his mind a few times?
I’ve heard him say he’s leaving then he's staying. I’m sure he even said if they were relegated he’d stay.

Or is he just making it easier for the club to sign players...signing to play under Pep when you know he might be leaving might make it harder to sign on the dotted line.

Even if he stays it won't be for more than two more seasons after this, So the end game is in sight for City now in many respects!

Another puff piece on City, I hope this isn't the case.

I'm telling you the ramifications of finding City guilty are just too big for the PL to fathom.

Every single PL club since 2008 would have the opportunity to start legal proceedings.

The PL as a brand would be finished. Ain't going to happen.

There is precedent however, throughout Europe. Juve, Fiorentina, Parma, Rangers, Marseille etc.

I suspect there is some membership clause that protects the Leagues from being sued in the event of other clubs wanting to be compensated in light of these demotions otherwise we’d have seen legal challenges.

Then why file 115 charges in the first place ?
