When they signed Ozil, i was very jealous as he's someone who's been class over the last few years.

But in all honesty iv not really rated him in a Arsenal shirt. There have been the odd flashes of brilliance, but overall he's not been as good as i thought he would be.

On what grounds is he appealing the ban? Just that he doesn't think he should be banned for breaking a rule that carries a ban?

Nah, he's still scoring and getting assists. Prior to the Chelsea match he's managed 2 goals and 3 assists from the last 5 games, not Suarez level of play but still offering quite a bit to their team. Giroud however does look like he's noticeably dropped his level, not scored since the Southampton game.
