On a brighter note
Germany and Arsenal player Mesut Ozil is to donate his £350,000 World Cup winnings to the children of Gaza, reports the International Business Times.
Ozil is set to give the £237,000 bonus he received for helping Germany win the final, and the £118,000 he received for Germany's semi-final win.

A free lance photographer isn't a normal person then? Obviously not that big a deal to some, but I find the thought of having a car driven at me quite serious.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostFree lance photographer. Probably some gash paparazzi doorstepping him in his driveway not shifting his arse quick enough.
We are only guessing if we say that he was doorstepping and didn't get out of the way.

And we're only guessing if we say he didn't too.
Its not like the paparazzi don't have previous, and I seriously doubt Ozil is disturbed enough to be randomly mowing people down on the pavements, and if he was I doubt even our justice system would have let him off.
You have your guess, I'll have mine

You could say footballers have previous for driving offences though.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostAnd we're only guessing if we say he didn't too.

It's also not like this sort of thing doesn't happen all the time either, a footballer/celeb slowly moving forward in a vehicle to move someone or a crowd out of the way, all quite safe and no complaints from photographers.
So why did this one complain to the police, and why did Arsenal feel the need to 'entertain' those police officers in an executive box ?Last edited by Vermilion; 17-07-14, 11:40 AM.
