Harsh penalty in that the player had no time to react, but I can also see why it was given as it looks to me like the ball was goalward bound, so it has denied an opportunity.

I'd be fuming if it were given against us, but I'd also want it awarded if we were the attacking side.

Starting to get the feeling that Arteta, who is obviously a very talented head coach, is going to be one if those nearly but not quite men. Because of his personality. Too performative and inauthentic. Playing YNWA in training to face LFC. That stupid lightbulb speech.

Is this a guy who's going to inspire that crucial extra few percent needed from players to get a big prize across the line?
