            He's 29. It makes sense, someone who loves the club. Remembers how to win and still has a couple of years left. Good move IMO.

                    Er yes it does. He played 18 games and scored 4 for Milan last year. Clearly he's not right since his Injury in 2011. But Wenger had him playing some good stuff when he was there. If he can get back to something like that it could be a decent signing on a free.

                      so good he sold him then signed him again....hmmm wenger says we can't seem to sign anyone so let's re-sign a former player and push on for top 4 or higher

                        He left on a free the first time didnt he? If I remember Arsenal were gutted.

                        Anyway, it's a nothing thing and does show how far Arsenal have fallen behind.

                          Seems pretty sensible to me. Don't think anyone would bat an eyelid if they'd already signed some quality players
