Does it usually take the CPS 6 months to make a decision?
Under investigation for over 3 years, CPS have the case files for over 6 months, charges filed 4 days after contract expires when a new one could not be successfully negotiated. I don't know much about the inner workings of the legal system but a cynic could conclude this was all rather too convenient.

Seems unlikely the CPS would wait for him to finish the season. More likely they realised he was about to leave the country so they came to a decision before he did.
The CPS having the files for over 6 months suggests the matter isn’t clear-cut so every chance he’ll be found not guilty? Or this country is even more broken than I realised.Never knowingly optimistic

The Gooner PM was formerly DPP - head of the CPS. Go figure…Originally posted by BootRoom View PostDoes it usually take the CPS 6 months to make a decision?

I wasn't sure of the particulars apart from the fact he wasn't suspended by the club.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostHe was accused of "unwanted sexual advances" by one woman. I think it went away quite quickly due to a lack of evidence."We oil the jaws of the war machine and feed it with our babies."

Regardless, an ugly situation for Arsenal, though not one I'm confident we would handle much better, to be honest
