Yep it's a good, balanced squad now - just feels that they'll never properly challenge unless their manager changee, though
He's capable of it, I think I read Arsenal's highest goal tally of the PL era came under Arteta in 2023/24, but he seems all in on the shift to maximising control so that would be a bug change in mindset back to the more fluid, transitional style he previously used
Will all depend on injuries again imo. And how well Gyokeres settles.
Front line of Saka, Gyokeres, Martinelli, Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Maduke, Nwaneri is good strength in depth imo but first choice attack definitely not as strong as ours.
Difference between them and us might be the fact that their adjustments tactically will be practically zero. Basically Zubamendi and Gyokeres will come into the team in place of Partey and whoever played #9 for them last year.....ended with Merino started with Havertz.
The media spouts on about Liverpools big spending spree but once again Arsenal have spent huge sums this summer. Them and man United must surely be the biggest transfer spenders. For them to sign Zubamendi, Gyokeres, Maduke without really selling anyone of note is huge spend once again.
I am surprised that City seemed to be dismissed by all and many calling it a two horse race.
Arsenal are running out of time, Surely Arteta can;t have much longer if he doesnt bring some decent silverware in this season.
100% Hes been backed to the eyeballs & has to run out of time soon if he doesn’t win it. I’d be happy to see him disappear to an OS club & into obscurity
