    The Championship

Didn't catch much of Hull and Blackpool on Friday and have only seen the results from yesterday, but watching West Ham and Cardiff City now.

West Ham *should* walk this league; the squad they have is pretty impressive for that tier and they should have enough about them to play decent football before Fat Sam hammers (pun kinda intended) home his *methods*.

Granted they might lose a few players between now and the end of the transfer window, but they'll get decent crowds Nolan, Noble (and currently Parker) is an impressive midfield, they have goals in them, whether Piqueonne (sp), Carew or Cole and Green is decent enough to build a sound defence on.

And even if Fat Sam does implement his route one anti-football tactics, it wouldn't be enough to stop them against th emajority of teams in the league.

I think this league will be really competitive this year, West Ham and Leicester (With the money they have spent) should be favorites and need to go up due to the wage bills they will have

Blackpool and Forest might be in amongst it I also think Boro might have a decent season

Think they've played some nice stuff so far and it certainly hasnt been route one - they've played it along the ground, got good numbers forward, passed it nicely and showed good movement.

I agree that they should win this league at a canter and Allardyce, whatever people think of him, isnt wet behind the ears - he knows what he's doing.

Robert Green lets the shot go through his hands. Great result for Cardiff, although Dave Jones didn't know whether to laugh or cry!

Sven has spent a lot of cash on some good players. I think them and West Ham will go up automatically. Then it's just a lottery.

Leicester will do well I think. Obviously West Ham should do well but I think they lack the cynical heart of a typical Alladyce team at the minute.

If Southampton can spend some of this Oxlade Chamberlain money on 2 or 3 good players then they might be up around the play offs

Can't see them scoring enough goals to get in the play offs. Mid table for them I think.

Steve McLaren's Nottingham Forest have failed to register a single shot on target in his first two league games at the club ...

                        Hahahahahaha[breathes]

                        Sorry, I haven't finished.

So, they spend £1.2m on Ishmael Miller who managed one goal in the whole of last season.

                        [deep breath]Hahahahaha.
