Finally, a proper left-back. Happy with this one, I think he'll be our best signing this summer.

From a barcodes forum, after a Red joined up and asked them what Enrique was like going forward:
The reason I rated him so much is because he was so useful when it came to defending AND attacking. Going forward, he made a great partnership with Jonas down the left wing and has the ability to whip in decent crosses as well as take players on. He's also strong on the defensive part of his game as well, although he is a very confident player and sometimes tries to play his way out of trouble. Sometimes he pulls it off, but other times he has lost the ball in dangerous situations which put pressure on our defence....... what is he like getting forward and attacking?! hahahahahahahaha probably only second best to ashley cole as evra hasn't played very well recently. He's stronger at defending than attacking though, he's one of the calmest players I've ever seen, if he's boxed in his own corner by two players or being chased down on the wing, he'll quite often easily turn his men and stride out of danger completely unruffled with the ball in tow.He is pretty much the perfect left back and I think he'd easily fit into any team in the world.its so gutting to see him go best all round defender Iv seen at the toonAnother quality player leaves, the overall quality of the squad from last year to this isn't to different.if the £6m is to be believed then what a bargain that is. He is one of the best defenders I have ever seen play.Good luck to him, yeah he's been a bit whiney but he wanted a bigger move and I don't blame him, it's not an insult to Newcastle and as long as he's replaced then fair play - we all knew this day would come. It's a shame but he's a cracking player and I hope he does well there.A bit disappointed with the way he left us. He made it obvious that he didn't want to be here after the Carroll sale last season and, at times, looked like he couldn't even be arsed to play whilst on the pitch. Still, I hope he doesn't get boo'd when he plays against us. He's been a key player for us in the last couple of seasons & deserves to move to a club with more ambition.enrique joined for £6m as a young, spain u-21 player who struggled to settle into PL football.........he has had 2 awesome seasons now, got stronger and faster and a very assured PL defender who can attack and defend , who will be knocking on spains door , as well as a prime age of 25 and he goes for £6M?!!!!
WTFYeah Jose, f**k you
Had loads of Liverpool fans asking me "is he any good" "what's he like" Ask me that 6 months ago I'd have said Amazing, Solid you getting a great player.
Now my reply is more like He's Goofy and he sulks, enjoySomeone also posted this, which i thought was quite funny:£6m!!
what a joke
IF we can bring pieters in then its not all too bad as he;s rated highly and is said to be versatile but we cant take away from how good jose has been for us in the last few years
if we dont have pieters lined up then we are stupid mid

Andy Carroll's "Join Me" face.
