Scott Parker and Diarra will improve them but I can't see them proper going for top 4.

They still did the double over us last season so we really need to return the compliment this.

I think they will be the legitimate threat to finish 4th if they complete Lass and Parker signings but they must keep Modric.

If that happens they will be a better team and improve quite a bit in pretty much every area.

Friedel willl make them much less porous and stronger at the back, their midfield with Parker and Lass will be definitely better and Adebayor will certainly bring them something in the striking department they have been missing for last couple of years.

I wouldn't underestimate them.

Possible but still he is miles and miles better than Gomes and for that reason they are imo much more improved at the goalkeeping position.

Next year they can release/sell Gomes, move Friedel to back up role and go out and buy themselves good decent and long term goalkeeper.
