I may have said this before but I really hate Redknapp. He's not a terrible manager but neither is he that great, he succeeds when other teams fail - he's essentially a much better backed David Moyes with considerably less talent (even if his teams play more aesthetic football) but better PR. He's bankrupt many of the teams he has managed and whilst obviously chairmen etc. deserve a healthy share of the blame he shouldn't escape scot free.

Nail on the head - gordan strachan was on goals on sunday and they were talking about Howard Wilkinson at Leeds, and why he didn't get the credit he deserved...

strachan answered instantly with "PR" - he just said he had bad pr, and the media didn't like him so he never really had anything going for him...

I can't remeber in detail but he i'm sure he went on a bit about 'southern' journos favouring some managers, who always talk about their own achievements and build up a reputation for themselves as a 'legend'
