Yeah I was stretching the point - getting carried away by my own rhetoric.

    Unlike me.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Here's a quiz. Read these quotes, then answer the question, “When is sick chanting by morons worthy of condemnation by managers?”

October 2008: Fratton Park. Portsmouth’s Sol Campbell is given dog’s abuse by Spurs fans and his manager Harry Redknapp says: “It’s a disgrace. People chant filth. Some of the stuff that goes on is completely out of order.”

April 2010: White Hart Lane. Before Campbell’s visit in an Arsenal shirt, when he was guaranteed dog’s abuse once again. Redknapp, by this time the manager of Spurs, says: “He has been through it all before and he’s experienced enough to get on with the game. They have got the hump with him here, but he’s used to it now.”

October 2011: White Hart Lane. After Arsenal fans dish out Campbell-style abuse to ex-Gooner Emmanuel Adebayor, who now plays for Redknapp, Harry says: “It was disgusting. How do you chant something like that to someone? You can’t be right mentally. You need help.”

The answer? Sick chanting is worth condemning when the morons doing it aren’t your own.

Redknapp’s not alone. Arsene Wenger refused to attack the Gooners' hate show, as would most bosses in his position.

      But it’s time they started.

The day managers disown their own fans for glorifying death might be the day we begin to stamp out this vile trend.

'Arry' is a hypocrite. We all know that.

I hope redknapp fails. Can't stand all these stupid English people who keep banging on about the next England manager must be English. Like they are that ****ing great.
How many of them manage premiership clubs? All the top managers are Scottish or foreigners

England are ****. I have always watched England instead of Scotland as I was growing up and enjoyed the matches but these days I don't give a **** about them like The rest of you on here.

I want him to fail and then here what the cunts have to say about it then.

Wonder if he'd get the Turnip treatment, or end up as a 'Walley with a Brolly'.

Every England manager will fail until the general public lower their expectations and stop thinking a quite average side should be winning major tournaments. It doesn't matter what internationality the manager is, when the players just aren't good enough.

Tbf it doesn't seem to be the average Joe drumming up the expectation but rather the media.

Yeah I was gonna say. It's the media, and as you say every manager will 'fail' while the media has this attitude. The press pack on Twitter were all gloomy last night. For ****s sake, they've qualified for yet another major tournament at a canter. Unbeaten! Capello's record is fantastic, yet they all want him out. It's laughable.

                      Exactly.

Montenegro isn't an easy place to go. A 2-2 draw there isn't a bad result. Especially when it's leaving England topping the group with ease.

I'm sounding a bit like Hodgson here.

Before last nights game Capello had a win ratio of 66.6% from his 49 games in charge - the highest of any England manager.

As I type Tony 'tactical mastermind' Cottee is absolutely slaughtering Capello on Sky. 'I'm just not having Capello, Jeff'

for me Capello was the best manager in football, he's won wherever he's been, I suppose Tony Cottee wants 'Arry as the new England manager.

Unbelieveable quite how xenophobia some of these so called pundits are, I mean if the job was available at Anfield or even Old Trafford and it was a straight choice between 'Arry or Cappello I know who I'd want to be managing us! And it's not the cockney!
