Spurs would never be that uselessly idiotic, sadly.

You've heard of Hicks, Gillette & Purslow right? Or are you still in 2006?

If only Daniel Levy and ENIC were as pathetically useless as Purslow, Hicks and Gilette.

They should just play this on loop at his trial.

He nearly bankrupted West Ham & has now left them in the lower leagues as he ****ed them so much financially they won't be able to afford to be in the Prem for a long time if not at all. And as for Pompey, he has totally bankrupted them & they are well & truly ****ed. Spurs now have the 4th most expensive squad after the Scum - do u think they are a big enough club to able to afford it long term? Result = either West Ham or Pompey - simple.
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Sorry, I don't mean to be rude but that's complete nonsense. Unless Redknapp was the CEO or owner then he is not responsible, they didn't have to sign the cheques and it's their own damn faults if they spend more money than they have. An employee bankrupting a business is due to negligence by the business.

Spurs have always been big spenders too and he has made them a very good team.

Not to mention the bizarre West Ham bit.

I don't see it as being as clear cut as that, especially for people like Harry who claim to be football men. In at least a couple of those situations (Pompey and West Ham) he was in possession of the necessary information to know what was going on or unbelievable stupid. Given that his choices are either a/ to try and do the best for himself and hopefully the team short term or b/ care about the long term state of the club. In all situations he has chosen the former option. Whether that equates to 'destroying a club' is open to debate but it certainly makes me have less respect for him.

I agree about the Spurs point though - it is a good fit between him and the club. They have a fair amount of money and reasonably sensible businessmen in charge too, so he can spend but the club is insulated from most problems.

I thought West Ham going to the brink of bankruptcy was down to the Icelandic owners, primarily because their whole country went bankrupt when the credit crunch hit.
                              Oh I don't know.

Nope, it was definitely 'Arry's fault - those 10 years since he left them in 2001 (not to mention a similar number of managers) didn't actually happen.
