Will make for a really interesting atmosphere in the derby's - where we have flags with their manager on them.

It is destined to fail, same as his stint at Chelsea was, because he will never get the fans onside, and without that, then he can only ever take them so far. And also, his personality and understated manor, which would work in other clubs will not play well when for example we are playing them and they are looking for a bit of passion.

If he goes, he will rely heavily on Ferguson being that link to the supporters.

Good point about Big Dunc. I can't see Rafa wanting to work with him really, but if he were to get rid of him the fans would hate him even more.

Yeah, they could not be more different it would be suicidal in an already brazen move to get rid of him day one

So lets hope he does that!

The fact Ancelloti wanted to take him to RM is quite revealing though.

In terms of Rafa, we've moved on. The window where any of us wanted hoim back as manager has closed, and, dare I say it the game has moved on beyond his style of management and football. Everton are clearly desperate to bring in a credible manager and have less than no time to do so. It will very much be a marriage of convenience and not something that you would look to build an empire upon.

Did he ****! I suspect this was bull**** of the highest order. "I tried really, really hard to get Everton to release you Dunc, but they just wouldn't budge!"

Get the feeling that Bob was on the only one supporting Gillett and Hicks Probably happy when Woy came in too.

Rafa got a raw deal and had to cut his cloth to suit his purse. It was always compromises. He was competing with the competitors with the best teams in their history where he was working with peanuts. Say what you like about 'too cautious' but it's a stupid comment given the lack of backing he got. He brought magical European nights consistently, which seems to have been forgotten. Will be really frustrating to see him goto Everton.

Moshiri probably did them himself on his kitchen table last night after reading Twitter...

Probably just one attention seeking prick with paint, a camera, and who’s now sleeping with no duvet cover.

I reckon that Moshiri will chicken out of it and not give Rafa the job. Too much hassle.

Would love if he went to spurs and finished 2nd to us...... whilst Everton got someone like Eddie Howe and finished 18th

IMO he best years a way behind him.
