I think it just makes them mad knowing that they really aren't even close to being proper rivals with us. A lot of lfc fans would probably take the line that we'd like to see Everton doing ok (so that it means more when we beat them). We almost feel a bit sorry for them, and they can't stand it. Which is even funnier for us. I read that rant above and it makes me laugh; from a ManU fan I'd probably be annoyed but from an Everton fan its just amusing.
