    (1) So, situation is this. Talks progressing well between #EFC and Martinez but nothing finalised yet. Whelan's comments broke rank a bit.

    However still seems extremely likely that Martinez will become the next #EFC manager and expect it confirmed tomo or Weds latest.

              Both of their overseas fans work with me and both are as bitter as their pub team. Martinez will be wasted on these Neanderthals.

                When you see them say "yeah we looked him over last year for our vacant managers position, probly not a good fit for a big clubm but he'll do allright at yours".

                Being Evertonians they'll take that in good humour.
