Did well under Rafa, particularly in UEFA cup.

Deulofeu is a cracking signing, the bitters should be VERY excited about that one - especially with Martinez sure to utilise his 3-up-front very attacking type of football. Alcaraz alongside Jagielka could be a good partnership and Joel looked pretty good when I saw him play for Wigan last season.

Big problem I see is that Everton's main strength under Moyes was defense, even if they weren't scoring they were a nightmare to score against at times while Martinez teams often leak goals but look very good going forward. Going to be very difficult for him to try to marry the two properly.

After 11 years of being a pack of donkeys, they'll actually be a football team now.

But also looked and played like a mediorce player. imo. Lacks football intelligence.

Yeah, so mediocre he cost them the trophy.
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Or he could be a mediorce play in a squad that won a trophy. Bit like Charlie Adam.

4 goals in 5 starts from a wide player isn't a bad return, especially in important games. Also scored an important last minute goal that could have kept them in CL.

Was certainly one of their better fringe players IMO and not that out of place. Everton is probably about his level TBF.

Echo are saying Everton have given up on him now.

1 goal and 1 assist in 12 prem starts and 11 sub appearences.

                            Wigan is his level.

I thought they had already signed on him.

Well I'll be curious to see how he does wherever he goes and might revisit this thread.

He's not great - never rated him - but he's a lively player and did okay at Chelsea.

Nah. As crap as he is Wigan is a level below his abilities.
