They make out that they are some mega rich club now with a mega billionaire bankrolling them and who is taking 100s of millions out of his pocket to buy players and build a new stadium for them and who is richer than John Henry totally missing the point we are not owned by John Henry,it is fun and cringey reading some of the stuff.

It's hilarious, they all seem to think they've got 1.3bn cash because this fella supposedly has 1.3bn worth of assets! Oh and theres more money if needed because "he's friends with Usmanov".

Even if he does go on a spree this summer as a first window blow out to get people on side, 100m or whatever is hardly impressive in this day and us, Chelsea, City, Utd, even Leicester etc could all go and do that or more if we wanted. The disappointment when they dont sign Higuain, Isco and co and dont finish top 4 is going to be amazing. I honestly think if they finish 6th or something next season they'll be protesting against him and wanting Koeman out. I've genuinely never seen anything like this before, it's natural to be optimistic, I was even under Hicks and Gillett but these are delusional.

I've lived in Liverpool all my life and not once heard an Everton fan refer to it as that. Sounds like some new age bitter myth like "We go the game" or "Born".
