The homeless issue has grown year on year (judging by eye) and it seems the bare minimum has been done. It's a slap in the face of all those within the city struggling to spend circa £300m on a football stadium. If Everton want the stadium, fund it. I'd say the same for us, it's a waste of resources. Help with planning and whatnot, fine, but financial help to this extent doesn't sit well.

They are apparently only acting as guarantor on the loans

If they are "funding it" outright then there has to be serious questions asked particularly in light of a further funding cuts to LCC (of around £300m) next year

His beef isnt regarding that

Its that a fee was agreed in the summer (£35m??) and the player pulled the plug on the deal at the last minute

The deal is subsequently resurrected at £15m (with £7m to the agent and possibly some money to Barkley)

He thinks a fraud has taken place

Really though the people who should be complaining is Everton (if they have a beef with it) not some jumped up fat cunt local politician
