No ROI whatsoever, with the Spurs build at GBP1b, I'm struggling on that one as well. The footie bubble will burst in a few years, TV contracts will get smaller, and Liverpool Council will be sat on a GBP350m Turkey that everyone in Liverpool will pay for.I make no apologies, this is me

Sent from my SM-N960F using TapatalkIf you go back far enough in that thread you can see the lack of love for the location being so far north and next to a waste treatment facility. Once they realised it was officially going to be that dock they were developing it was a mass wankfestOriginally posted by rodo View Post
they really are under the impression they are in town not sandhills

Spoke to my bluenose mate the other day, season ticket holder all his life and he's only been to about 3 games this season and is giving up his ticket next. Said the atmosphere is just shocking nowadays and there is no motivation to go the games any more because it's a depressing groundhog day in the ground with no direction/leadership off the pitch.
He also said no chance the stadium will ever get built and it's only leaked due to it being season ticket renewal and he's not falling for it again

Hmm, seeing the council fulfilment is now going south with a reducing borrowing for LCC, meaning Everton going to the markets for more cash than anticipated. Unless they get safe standing, I can't see how this is affordable, especially on the cusp of Brexit and the punt taking a nose-dive. Mosri is not daft, hence no money going into the build from his, but I can't see how this will work. the stadium would need to be utilised pretty much every day of the week to make the commercial ops work.Originally posted by Deano View Post
