Because their owner’s ambitions are to destroy the local area to expand the hole punch stadium further whereas ours are to have a state of the art stadium/entertainment venue that the city can be proud of

This. They have a gradually rebuilt, in part cheap and nasty, shed in a neglected part of town with zero attractions within walking distance.
We by contrast have a new build in the centre of IMO the city with the best daytime culture and nightlife in the UK close by. Done right, this could be THE top away trip in the PL and one hopes the CL. They know our owner(s) have the ambition to deliver on this. And theirs do not.

I literally couldn't give a **** about their stadium It's just funny as this is what their 3rd plan in the last 20 or so years
