Didn't the fans call for his head and the board sack him last time?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Why do I feel like Moshiri is just trolling the Everton fans now?

How much of his spending is legit spending and how much of it is loans that the club has to pay him back? If they went this year would he pull the plug funding the stadium because I can't imagine a bank funding it for them in the Championship with only parachute payments coming in.
                        Football without Origi is nothing

I have always doubted they would ever build a stadium, and now the dock has been backfilled with sand dredged from the mersey river it seems some construction could soon start.
I reckon (conspiracy theory spoiler alert) that they always wanted to get planning approved, then put some stumbling blocks in place (lack of transport infrastructure, etc) and change the pp to apartments etc and make a bundle out of it.
Maybe getting everton relegated helps to justify binning the stadium
At the end of the day mosgiri (figure head) and usmanov (the real money) are business men and dont give a **** about everton, so why not.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

...if conspiracy theories could come true, that would truly be an absolute belter. Imagine the fume... they'd make a 'firm stance' by not buying one of the £250k apartments...

If all that happens and they go down, wow. They'd have to come straight back up or they'd be there some time.

Still don't see them going down as the bottom 3 are just so awful. Burnley might have games in hand but that's next worthless to those teams. The only hope is that Newbloodmoney United and Wtf-ford overtake them. Just don't see that happening.

Have to be honest, I don't have any sympathy for Rafa whatsoever.... what else did he expect. It was such a weird appointment. Hopefully they get Martinez back, he is a dreadful manager.
