They just don't know what to do, like United in that way imo. Do we keep spending money on players? Do we keep trying to get big names to manage us? I think the problem with Everton is that they think they are a bigger club than they actually are. United are different, their desperately trying to cling onto the past so they spend what it takes to try stay relevant, whereas Everton never were. One of my mates is an Everton supporter, poor ******* it's just relentless for them and all they can focus on is the joy they feel when we lose.

they were decent on the 80s but do we’re Villa, Forest etc…….. it’s like they consider themselves like AC Milan - a giant of European football that’s in a current slump
They are a mess and their own fan base contribute to that with their insane expectations

Would be 100% cancelled imo. They've only poured sand in to the dock so far. Stadium will cost £500m so will inevitably balloon about another 50%. No way that sort of money gets spent on a Championship side as nobody will get the money back.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostUs winning the quadruple the same year as them getting relegated would be f##kin hilarious......
If they got relegated, then do people think that the stadium could get cancelled??? Or is it too far along?Football without Origi is nothing

to be honest I am wondering if they will make the money back anyway?? In reality Everton have good support in terms of numbers (their away support shows that too) but I am not sure that they are a good corporate offering. That is where the big cash from a new stadium comes in surely? That is the case with Arsenal etc anyway. I can't see Everton attracting big corporate support.Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostWould be 100% cancelled imo. They've only poured sand in to the dock so far. The other big income stream from their stadium will be concerts and shows etc. So the likes of Elton John, the eagles etc that are in Anfield this year will be going to B-M-D in the future. No doubt about that - the location for the city is better. For this reason I am kind of surprised that a retractable roof is not included though.
I wonder is the long term plan of Moshiri to do a Sinawatra on it and make them a more attractive option and then flip it to a Suadi / Qatari option...... he's doing a ****e job of it though
