    On my way home from work i saw them poor bitter fans gathering for their coach to southampton at 6.15am.
    Poor ****ers, its like using football as a waynof self harming
    removing all the weak links makes us stronger

                    That is ****ing glorious, really enjoyed them fighting with each other. If we win the league and they get relegated I'm giving up football, nothing will ever top that.
                    I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

                          I feel that this is a brave stance from them:

                          We're in a relegation battle in the same way we were in a battle for top 4 this time last season. We weren't going to finish top 4 with this team and we won't go down with this team either.
                          I haven't watched a huge amount of them this season, and while I think they'll probably stay up, I don't think they are too good to go down.

                          They are 16th, IMO Newcastle in 17th will pull away. Norwich will probably go down, so IMO it's two from Watford, Burnley, Everton, Leeds and Brentford. I think it comes down to who can put a run of good results together. Burnley haven't lost as many as the others they have just struggled for goals, they had a great result at the weekend if they can carry that on I think they can get out of it. Watford are an enigma, they have players like Dennis and Sarr who look good but are managed by Bodge, so could go either way. Brentford are in free fall and Leeds and Everton just both look poor.

                              The big difference for me is that teams around them play each other more than Everton do. I don't see that as good for Everton as it guarantees in each game one of them has to pick up more points. Everton's games against Watford and Burnley are vital

                                Is the big difference that to not get 4th they had to get worse not better. Not the same to avoid relegation they need to get better and thats a much harder trick to pull off!
