Is the big difference that to not get 4th they had to get worse not better. Not the same to avoid relegation they need to get better and thats a much harder trick to pull off!

I care more about us than them, I'd rather have a better chance of us winning the league than them going down. If they could beat City (very unlikely admittedly) that would be my preference for that fixture, if those points keep them up fair enough. Personally I think they will just stay up regardless, but that's more to do with other teams being worse...

They're obsessed with us, hating us is as much a part of being an Everton supporter as backing their own team. I do wonder what the hell they did for the 14 years before we were formed
