Saw one of their own fans claim on the forum that every other team in the football league, since they won the FA Cup in 1995, has won a league title, a cup, or a play off final. They won something, they've had a victory in a showpiece game.

Sadly it isn't true. Oldham haven't either. A90 teams in the football league have won *something* since Everton. What a miserable existence

Just seen the Mirror did a piece similar to this a couple of days ago, of the 44 teams currently in the top 2 leagues only Everton and Forest haven't won anything (League, Cup, Championship, or playoff final) this Millennium, and Forest won a championship title in 1998.

Since Everton won the FA Cup (and associated Charity Shield) in 1995 they have been in one FA Cup final which they lost. We have played in:
- 4 CL finals, winning 2
- 4 FA Cup finals, winning 2
- 6 League Cup finals, winning 4
- 2 UEFA Cup/Europa League finals, winning 1
Plus a PL title.

That's not counting Super cups, Club world cups, Charity Shields etc that you have to win another trophy to qualify for.

Supporting Everton must be the most depressing thing, surely it can't be good for their health. I only know one Everton fan and he lives in Hull, do they wear their footy kits around town like a ****ty badge of honour or are they hidden away and wheeled out at kicking out time to help disperse crowds and parties?

Imagine the hatred children must have for their parents to have that bestowed upon them from birth

I don’t live in the city, I grew up with United being historically the worst. I don’t know about all this bitter stuff that you guys are talking about.

I'm in darwin Australia and I saw a car driving aruond with plates that read EvertonFC. Why would someone halfway around the world do this to themselves. Just become a city fan like the rest of the gypsies.
